Nick Viall is getting candid about the age difference between him and his wife, Natalie Joy.
The 45-year-old actor and 27-year-old Joy, who married in 2018, have an age difference of 18 years
In a recent conversation with Peoplethe Bachelor Alum said Joy changed his life in “amazing ways,” although the rift made him question the relationship early on in their relationship.
“I was grateful for the life I had before, but in every meaningful and measurable way, she changed it in such amazing ways. I think I was someone when we first met, we all talked about it, but I was nervous. What were people going to say? I had a hard time just leaning into the connection,” he told the outlet.
On the other hand, Joy has never been bothered by the age difference. She admitted, “It didn’t bother me at first. I wasn’t really the one who had any doubts or nervousness about it. My parents have an age difference. My sisters have an age difference. It just wasn’t anything that I wasn’t used to. So I think that’s just an easy thing for me to not really worry about.”
The couple are parents to daughter River Rose, whom they welcomed in 2024. They are also expecting twin daughters
“Having Natalie in my life is the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Viall added.
