Britney Spears has sparked new concerns amid reports about her inner circle.
Sources have raised questions about the people Spears has been hanging out with in recent months.
Years after the end of her publicized conservatorship, which ended in 2021, the source told Radar Online, “The crew that Britney surrounds herself with now is incredibly shady. A lot of these guys have criminal histories.”
“Apparently there are known drug dealers in the mix and other types looking to make money off her. These are exactly the kind of characters her family always feared would take advantage of her and drag her back to the bottom,” the source added.
Referring to the singer recently being arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, the source said: “This could become much bigger than a DUI.”
“Unfortunately, she has become very dependent on these creeps, and they live off her largesse, spending huge amounts of money to keep them around,” the insider said.
Spears is reportedly being “exploited and manipulated” by the “dangerous people” around her.
Britney Spears’ best friends are also said to be worried about her. “There is a real fear of what could happen if they try to intervene without some form of protection.”
“Right now the talk among those closest to her is about staging a proper rescue operation to get Britney away from this crowd, because everyone agrees that the environment she is now in is dangerous and completely untenable,” said an insider.
