The host of the Show todaySavannah Guthrie has finally sat down for her first-ever interview with former Today show co-host Hoda Kotb. In it, she describes the pure, unbridled and unadulterated pain her entire family has been living with since their mother Nancy disappeared from her home in the final hours of the day.

What is relevant to mention about this appearance is that this is her very first public statement on air since her mother was taken.

For those unaware of the circumstances of her disappearance, a masked man caught on her call camera took her from her home in Arizona.

Explaining what happened when she learned the whole sordid affair was taking place, she claims the first conversation took place with her sister where, in her own words, “my sister called me and I said, ‘Is everything okay?’ And she said, ‘No, Mom’s missing.’

This was right after she claimed, “I gave Mike [Feldman, her husband] at Christmas, a guys outing, to go play tennis and so he was away for the weekend and so I took my kids to Carson’s [Daly]So we had a nice, nice evening together, and I came home and had actually just gotten home at the same time that Mike came home and we were just saying hello and doing our stuff, and the kids were running around.

She then also discussed how bad the family’s pain has become since then, because “we’re in pain” and “it’s unbearable,” she says since. “And to think what she’s been through.”

She even added, “I wake up every night, in the middle of the night, every night, and in the darkness I imagine her fear. And it’s unthinkable, but those thoughts require thinking about. And I won’t hide my face. She has to come home now. Someone has to do the right thing.”

What happened to Nancy Guthrie?

As of this writing, a $1 million reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information regarding her recovery.

Additionally, investigators are being aided by the FBI as evidence mounts toward her current condition, including an alarming update on the state of her pacemaker app, which has been inactive since the day after her arrest.

The Today Show host’s mother was last seen in Foothills, Arizona, on February 1, 2026, attending church a day earlier.

Initial reports from police found blood on her porch and even a camera shot of the bell ringing the entire kidnapping scheme as it unfolded.
