Lisa Kudrow has opened up about the enduring bond she shares with her husband Michel Stern.
Speaking to People Magazine, the Friends alum revealed the secret of her three-decade marriage.
According to Lisa, the key to their lasting relationship comes down to one principle: commitment.
She said, “I think that’s all.”
He added: “Mutual respect for the most part. But I definitely want to stay together and then relearn mutual respect, practice mutual respect and listen.”
Lisa Kudrow and Michel Stern first met in the late 1980s and married in 1995. The couple welcomed their son, Julian Murray Stern, who recently appeared with his mother on the final season of The Comeback.
Lisa also revealed the moments on set when she couldn’t resist slipping into mom mode. She said: “I was a little tired and my brain was a little fuzzy, and I’ve been looking at lines. I walked in and saw Julian sitting on the couch with a few other people and said, ‘Oh,’ and just walked over and climbed onto the couch next to him and cuddled into it.”
“And everyone just went… And he said, ‘Hi, Mom,’ and everyone was looking. It might have been inappropriate to climb on him. I think some people didn’t know he was my son. So they were still wondering, ‘What happens now?'” she added.
