Harrison Ford, a well-known star, received much applause for his performance in Shrink. But when the penultimate episode was scrapped, speculation arose about his departure.
However, neither the actor nor the show have confirmed that he is leaving. None of his co-stars hinted at the shocking decision.
Instead, they had only warm words for Ford, who plays a therapist suffering from Parkinson’s disease.
Lukia Maxwell, who plays Alice, the honorary granddaughter of Ford’s character Paul, narrates Decision maker“This season, like every season, [working with Harrison] is such a gift. It will always be something I will look back on and be in awe of.”
She continues, “His presence is insane. His relationship with the cast, with the crew, with the camera. He’s been doing it forever. He loves it so much. And the care and attention he has for everything – he’s just the best. He’s the best of the best.”
Luke Tennie fondly remembers his one-on-one scene with Ford in season three, where he said, “There’s one in particular, it’s a bit like a graduation scene between Harrison and myself – Paul and Sean – and he kind of let Sean know, ‘I think you’ll be fine if I’m not here, if this disease takes over.’ And I think Sean understands that Paul is right. He does have all the tools and skills necessary to continue his life and grow in a responsible way.”
Shrink The season three finale will be released on April 8.
