Travis Kelce proudly adopts his love’s reference!
The NFL star, who got engaged to Taylor Swift in August 2025, was calm and unbothered as the “Opalite” singer was called his wife.
During a recent episode of his and his brother Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast, Travis discussed his prospects on the basketball court with University of Cincinnati Bearcats head coach Jerrod Calhoun.
Travis jokingly said he had “one semester left to qualify” for the college competition.
In response, Jerrod said, “We’ll get you a good NIL [name, image and likeness] deal, dude.”
“You should ask your wife,” he added, referring to Taylor.
Although the Travis and the ‘Fate of Ophelia’ singer are currently planning their wedding, they are not married yet.
Travis smiled in response to the comment and said teasingly, “Honey, I’m going back to school.”
The three-time Super Bowl champion recently announced that he will return as a tight end with the Kansas City Chiefs for the upcoming NFL season after a brief hiatus that led to rumors of his retirement.
He said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ about his return: “I’m not going to lie, it was pretty short and brief. The Chiefs knew where I was the whole time.”
Travis admitted he needed some time to let the emotions sink in after his team lost last season.
