Ty Herndon is reportedly ready to start a new brood with his partner.
According to PEOPLE Magazine’s latest report, Herndon has “talked about” having children in the coming year.
Amid the release of his memoir called What mattered most: a memoirHerndon reflected on some of his darkest moments from the past.
He expressed gratitude for his life today, saying, “Normal for me today is nothing like what normal looked like for me back then.”
“I got a house payment, a husband, a dog, maybe a baby next year, just we got car payments and insurance. We’re pretty normal,” the singer added.
Recalling a conversation with former Bachelor star Colton Underwood at the GLAAD Awards, where they joked about the simplicity of their current lives, Herndon said, “I sat with Colton Underwood and his husband at the GLAAD Awards.”
“He said, ‘Are you really willing to be so normal?’ I said, ‘Oh God, yes.’ I wanted it all my life, but it just didn’t look like it at the time.”
He even said that the idea of welcoming children is more than a passing thought for him and his partner.
“We’ll be talking about kids next year,” the musician continued.
For those unfamiliar, Herndon and Schwartz will officially get married in early 2023.
Before drawing his conclusion, he noted, “We’re talking about things that are in my future that I never thought I would talk about, like adding a room to the house.”
