Olivia Munn emphasizes the importance of early cancer diagnosis.
And the actress is urging her fans to take inspiration from her ‘Your Friends & Neighbors’ co-star Amanda Peet’s cancer journey.
In a recent conversation with People For the ‘PEOPLE in 10 interview’, Munn was asked about her boyfriend Peet’s health issues, which she publicly revealed earlier in March.
The 45-year-old actress admitted she was so ‘relieved’ when she heard Peet received an early diagnosis.
“She told me she had been diagnosed last year, and I was so relieved that she found out at such an early stage,” Munn told the outlet.
The mother of two went on to say, “She found it as quickly as possible. She really got the gift of finding it so early that she doesn’t have to do all the treatments and all those things that you have to do for years to come.”
“She was extremely lucky, and it’s another reminder that early detection saves lives,” Munn expressed her gratitude.
For those unfamiliar, Munn is a cancer survivor herself and was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023.
Your Friends & Neighbors is streaming on Apple TV+.
