Rapper Offset was reportedly shot in an incident outside a popular Florida casino on Monday.
“We can confirm that Offset has been shot and is currently receiving medical care at the hospital. He is stable and being closely monitored,” a police representative said. No sweat hitmaker told People magazine.
“Right now, it looks like he’s doing fine,” the source confirmed. “He is at Memorial Regional Hospital and not in intensive care.”
Speaking to the publication, Seminole police said they are “aware of an incident that occurred in a valet area Monday after 7 p.m. outside Seminole Hard Rock Hollywood” that resulted in “non-life-threatening injuries to an individual who was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood.”
In addition, authorities told the newspaper that the “situation was quickly brought under control” and that two people were taken into custody in connection with the shooting.
“The investigation is ongoing. The location is secure and there is no threat to the public. Operations continue as normal,” police added in a statement.
The law enforcement department added that operations at the premises are continuing as normal.
It is pertinent to mention here that Offset’s Migos bandmate and friend, Takeoff, died in November 2022 after being fatally shot outside a bowling alley in Houston.
