Cameron Diaz has shared her work experience with Keanu Reeves for the new film, Result.
Speak with The standardthe 53-year-old actress said reuniting with Keanu for their new film was “pure joy.” For those unfamiliar, the two were last seen together in the 1996 crime comedy, Feeling Minnesota.
“When we worked together 30 years ago, it was like my fourth film,” Cameron said. “I was very green. I’m ashamed – the poor guy had to act with this young aspiring actor who was just starting out.
He went on to say, “I was happier to have the opportunity to work with him again after some more experience.”
“We have seen each other over the years and are always happy to see each other,” he added the Back in Action actress. “He has always been who he is now, but has always been the sweetest person.”
Revealing why she accepted the offer to star ResultCameron said: “I think there are a lot of reasons why we as actors choose to make a film, and often it’s a combination of things. It’s a bit like stars aligning.
“You sign up because you think there is a great opportunity to explore with other actors, with a director, with a writer that you really admire,” she added.
For those unfamiliar with it, Cameron and Keanu’s new movie: Resultis scheduled for release on Apple TV+ on April 10, 2026.
