Terry Crews is said to have helped his wife Rebecca find an effective therapy for her health problems.
For those unfamiliar, Rebecca Crews was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease in 2015 after experiencing mysterious symptoms for four years.
In a new conversation with PEOPLE MagazineCrews revealed her experience with the treatment that changed her life. This is actually focused ultrasound, a treatment just approved by the FDA for Parkinson’s disease.
Reflecting on the time her husband introduced her to the treatment, she said, “I knelt by my bed, prayed and cried because I hadn’t slept in several nights and was about to die.”
After receiving treatment that she initially didn’t trust, Crews decided to share her story so others might benefit too.
“The only reason I’m going public is because I finally have some uplifting information to offer.”
Reportedly, the results of the treatment were visible on the right side of her body within hours. “I noticed it right away.”
“I was at the hotel [near the hospital] and as I was trying to put on my pants I realized I could lift my leg without holding on to a table or something.
“And then I realized I could write and sign my name in perfectly legible handwriting. Before, I couldn’t do all these things.” [having the procedure].”
