Speak with TermFerreira said, “I thought I learned a really big lesson in Hollywood. I thought, ‘Oh, showbiz! You could shoot a whole movie, and it wouldn’t even come out.'”

She continued, “It felt like such a fun, good movie, that it’s finally coming out and we’re all so excited about it. It’s been one of those things where I’m like, ‘It’s Faces of Death. Are they going to censor us? Are they not going to put us in theaters? Are they not even going to come out with it, period?’

“So this moment is so satisfying because for so long I’ve been emphasizing the fact that this beautiful, super cool, terrifying horror movie isn’t getting any attention because of things that don’t even have nothing to do with art, nothing to do with the movie,” the spokesperson said. Euphoria actress added.

Barbie was also thrilled to get to work with co-star Charli XCX, explaining that she had been a fan of the pop star long before her hugely successful 2024 album. Brat.

The Mile End kicks star said: “I mean, this was her first acting role that she did, and now she’s like a big movie star, a pop star. It was before Brat. You don’t understand, this was a year before Brat. We were the OG fans. I have known Charli for a long time and have been a huge fan of hers through all her albums and been to all her shows.”

“It was cool to see her come into my world, where it’s a little less glamorous, where we’re filming in Louisiana, kind of indie, kind of not, horror movie, where it’s 15 hours a day and call time is 4 a.m. So it’s really nice to see her in that element and outside of the big glamorous pop star, cool girl that she is and real character. It was really fun,” she said, describing what it was like to work with. Charlie XCX.

Ferreira previously played the role of Kat Hernandez in the hit TV series Euphoria but thinks leaving the show in 2022 was a necessary decision to allow her to “spread her wings” in the film industry.

“I just felt like I wanted to act and could play different roles, and if Euphoria could serve that for me, I would have happily done it forever, however long it would have been. But it didn’t really show me my range. In fact, it diminished a little bit as time went on, and it was like, acting and growing my career makes me happy,” she explained, justifying her decision to leave. Euphoria.
