John Cena is spreading the word about his favorite shows he binge-watches on Netflix.
In a recent conversation with People at the Netflix Upfronts event in New York City, the actor and former WWE star shared that his current guilty pleasure is the reality competition series Million dollar secret.
“I love a secret millionaire,” Cena said, referring to the show in which 12 contestants try to figure out which player secretly has $1 million in his possession.
“I think it’s a sleeper,” Cena added. “People should check it out. I love the show.”
Cena also expressed his desire to appear on the series at some point, saying he hopes for “some kind of cameo in the future.”
Elsewhere in the chat, Cena also talked about his upcoming Netflix comedy Little Brother, in which he stars alongside comedian Eric André.
“I’m a big fan of the Eric Andre Show. I didn’t laugh out loud [for] as long as I can remember,” Cena bounced.
He further added that the story’s script suited André’s comedy style: “When I read the script [for Little Brother]it’s definitely for Eric, and he just needed a sounding board for his jokes, and I’m glad I’m that sounding board.”
Cena praised André’s creativity and fearless personality, noting, “His courage is relentless and his mind is always working… it’s hard to compare him to anyone else. And like I said, he’s not that risk-averse. He’s crazy, but so thoughtful, and his mind is always working, and it’s just amazing to watch.”
