Miley Cyrus Malibu Home rebuilt after 2018 Woolsey Fire

Miley Cyrus is finally close to the return of her house in Malibu, almost seven years after it was destroyed in the Woolsey Fire 2018.

In a new conversation with Pamela Anderson for CR Fashion BookThe 32-year-old singer revealed that the house she once shared with ex-husband Liam Hemsworth is almost ready.

“I worked on a rebuilding,” Cyrus shared in the interview on September 22.

“I lost my house in the Woolsey -fire and have been rebuilt over the past five years. It seems that it will be ready for me in the coming weeks.”

Cyrus was filming at the time of the fire Mirror In South Africa. The flames only tore through her house for a month before she and Hemsworth made the knot. Their marriage ended later in August 2019, but the loss of the house remained with her.

In an August 2023 Tiktok, Cyrus thought about the memories of the building and said, “That house had so much magic.”

She explained that she had recorded her first post –Hannah Montana Album there and noticed: “The Meet Miley Cyrus Record was really where I started writing my own songs as a solo artist.”

She remembered how surrealistic it felt that the same Malibu house that she once took, would later become her home before they finally burned off.

Despite the destruction, Cyrus has often talked about finding a sense of innovation through experience.

During a screening of her visual album Something beautiful Earlier this year she admitted: ‘When my house was burned down, it was the greatest blessing I have ever had in my life, actually.

Losing everything and being able to rebuild, and to be goal -oriented and choose every piece that I am going to collect or just about the people in my life. ”

She added that the fire also brought clarity to her relationships and said, “When my house burned down, a lot of my relationships also burned down, and that just led me to so much magic and to have so much gratitude.”

The aftermath even changed its artistry.

Cyrus spoke with Joe Rogan back in 2020 that her voice shifted after the fire.

“I could sing better after the fire. It was almost like it unleashed something,” she said, and noticed how the experience gave her a different view of life and her music.

Now that her rebuilt house is almost complete, Cyrus is preparing to get into a new chapter, a formed by resilience, loss and the freedom to start over.
