The constant quarrel of Cardi B and Nicki Minaj on X (formerly Twitter) has taken a new turn because both rappers have tackled each other’s children in some loosely as apologies.
Instead of really making the situation harmless, their messages have only added fuel to the fire, whereby every artist continues to make the shots on the other side.
The heated exchange, which lasted for a few days, has let the two rappers swing personal insults to each other and focus on everything from family to career pals.
The tensions escalated when both children dragged each other to the feud and widespread play arose.
The Superbas Rapper eventually delayed her barrage of messages to publish a message that was aimed at the daughter of Cardi B, Kulture. The message, although presented as an apology, also contained comments that many are interpreted as passive-aggressive.
“Dear Kulture, the truth is: I have done all this for a greater goal and one day you will understand it. You are a cute child and many children have cute little funny -looking gums before they grow in all their functions. One day you see this, so I have to say: I am apologetic. As a child of God and queen you are not deserving to me.
Cardi B, 32, responded by addressing Nicki’s son, lovingly known as Dad Bear. Her message, however, felt more like a prick with Nicki than as a genuine apology for the child.
“I am sorry that your mom has not cut you in the last 3 days, because she can’t take my success or happiness,” wrote Cardi.
Cardi later responded directly to Nicki’s note on Kulture and accused her of making a ‘backward apology’.
“I don’t want to keep children, it feels very filthy,” Cardi added, and acknowledged that involving children in their feud was a step too far.
