Mauricio Umansky has revealed the ‘greatest’ dating advice he received from his daughters.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum opened up about his new ‘era of being single’ in an interview People magazine.
“I’m alone. I’m single. I’m dating. I think this is my era,” said Mauricio, who called it quits with Kyle Richards in July 2023 after 27 years of marriage.
The Agency founder shares three daughters with Kyle: Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17. Kyle is also mother to Farrah Brittany Aldjufri, 34, whom she welcomed with her previous marriage to Guraish Aldjufrie.
“They always talk to me about it,” the luxury real estate agent said of his dating life. “The biggest piece of advice they give from their perspective is, ‘Dad, we want you to be happy. We want you to have fun, but have fun age-appropriate.’”
“They’re trying,” he added. “They don’t want me to be photographed and be out there, especially with someone I just went on a first date with or something like that.”
About his relationship with his daughters, Mauricio said, “I have such an open relationship with them and such a friendship. We’re just super honest.”
“One of the things they’ve always said to me is that they really value honesty and being honest about everything. I definitely talk to them about their relationships, where they’re at,” he added.
