Amy Schumer has said goodbye to her husband Chris Fischer after seven years of marriage.
The 44-year-old actress announced the “difficult decision” on social media on Friday, December 12.
“Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after seven years,” Amy wrote alongside a photo of herself with Chris.
She further wrote, “We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”
“Blah blah blah not because I dropped a few pounds and thought I could take the basket and not because he’s a handsome Janlmes beard award winning chef who can still pull a hot tail,” continued the I feel beautiful actress.
“Kind and all love and respect! Family forever,” Amy added.
Commenting on the split between Amy and Chris, an insider close to the couple said People magazine that, “There’s nothing ugly. It’s a coherent break.”
“They just finished a few things,” the confidant said.
For those unfamiliar, Amy and Chris tied the knot in February 2018, and the former couple share a 6-year-old son, Gene, together.
