Amelia Gray has revealed which co-stars helped her make her acting debut on FX’s The beauty.
Speak with PEOPLE Magazine At the series premiere, the model-turned-actress shared that she was making her first acting appearance in Ryan Murphy’s latest project.
Gray revealed the support she received, saying two cast members made a big difference during filming.
“Ben Platt and Megan Trainor have both helped me a lot,” she said.
“Like Ryan Murphy, of course. I mean, obviously I couldn’t have done that without him. Like he directed my whole scene really well, and I’m incredibly grateful,” she added.
Gray also noted that Trainor was especially helpful because of her own preparation.
She revealed that the singer had “taken acting classes before” and relayed what she had learned.
Gray said she initially felt intimidated.
“Ben is obviously an EGOT actor. He’s won every award there is to win. So I was kind of nervous about shooting a scene with him,” she recalls.
“You spent a lot of time together as actors, I discovered. And as we spent more time together, he was so supportive,” she concluded.
