Nicola Peltz had issues with Victoria Beckham prior to her marriage to Brooklyn Beckham.
“They can’t stand each other and aren’t talking,” says an insider Page six in August 2022. The source further shared that trouble was already “brewing” ahead of Nicola and Brooklyn’s April 2022 wedding in Florida.
“The run-up to the wedding was terrible,” the confidante said at the time.
A source close to the family further claimed that the Transformers actress did not want Victoria “to be any part of the planning, and she would not inform Victoria of anything. Communication was minimal.”
Recently, Brooklyn shared a statement on social media, making it clear that he does not want to reconcile with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
“I don’t want to reconcile with my family. I am not being controlled, I am standing up for myself for the first time in my life,” the eldest son of the Beckham family wrote on Instagram Stories.
“All my life, my parents controlled the stories in the press about our family,” the 26-year-old said of his parents.
Brooklyn claimed that his parents “tried endlessly to ruin my relationship with Nicola before my wedding, and it hasn’t stopped.”
“My mother canceled the making of Nicola’s dress at the eleventh hour despite how excited she was to wear her design, leaving her in desperate need of a new dress,” he claimed.
