Maren Morris has teased that she is working on new music with ex-husband Ryan Hurd, two years after finalizing her divorce.
The 39-year-old singer took to her Instagram account and posted a photo of her ex-partner, seemingly hinting at an upcoming collaboration.
“We’re back,” she wrote over the image.
This musical collaboration would not be the first time they made music together. The exes first met in 2013 while writing Tim McGraw’s Last turn home.
Maren previously collaborated with Ryan on his 2021 single, Hunting for you.
Maren and Ryan finalized their divorce in early 2024. They share a six-year-old son, Hayes.
Last year Maren made an appearance at Chelsea Handler’s Dear Chelsea podcast, where she revealed that she and Ryan were on very good terms.
“I’m lucky that we still love each other so much,” said the High Lady hitmaker. “We have the utmost respect, but there is also the devastation that two people have caused [who] loving each other so much can’t make it work in the real world. It will always be versatile.”
“We are neighbors, and I am so happy that we put our son above each other’s sts,” she added. “It will be better for the two of us if we get along, and also co-parent our son.”
