Taylor Swift is reportedly feeling “exposed” after her alleged text exchange with boyfriend Blake Lively was revealed in an unsealed court document earlier this month.
While the Gossip Girl alum is all geared up for the upcoming trial against her It Ends with Us co-star Justin Baldoni, a lawsuit revealed Blake Lively’s emails and text messages with fellow stars including Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Taylor Swift and other industry colleagues.
A source recently revealed to US Weekly that the Grammy-winning artist was not happy about her private text messages with Lively being released in this way.
“It’s been really hard for Taylor, honestly,” the insider told the outlet.
The Life of a Showgirl performer believed her privacy had been violated by publicly releasing her private conversations.
“Having her texts spread around made her feel exposed and a little violated,” the source noted, adding, “Suddenly something like that was private was no longer hers.”
“That doesn’t suit her,” the tattler claimed.
For those unfamiliar, Lively filed a lawsuit against Baldoni in late 2024 alleging sexual harassment and an alleged smear campaign against her, which Baldoni had denied.
Baldoni later countersued Lively, but his case was dismissed by the court in June 2025.
In May 2025, Baldoni’s legal team attempted to subpoena Swift, accusing Lively of using her friendship to take creative control of the film.
Swift’s rep clapped back with a statement saying, “Taylor Swift never stepped foot on the set of this film. She was not involved in any casting or creative decisions, she did not score the film, she never saw any edits or took any notes on the film.”
A month later, Baldoni’s attorney withdrew their request, according to Lively’s legal team.
