Billie Eilish won the Song of the Year trophy for Wild flower at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The 24-year-old singer took the stage at the Cryto.com Arena with her brother, Finneas O’Connell, to accept her award.
She began her speech by thanking the Recording Academy and her fellow nominees.
“Thank you so much. I can’t believe this. Everyone else in this category is so amazing,” said Billie. “I love you so much. I feel so honored every time I get to be in this room.”
“And as grateful as I feel, I honestly don’t feel like I need to say anything but that no one is illegal on stolen land… It’s just really hard to know what to say and what to do right now, and I feel really hopeful in this room,” she continued.
The What am I made for? hitmaker also slammed ICE in her speech at the awards ceremony, urging the audience to “keep fighting, speaking out and protesting”.
“Our voices really matter and the people really matter,” she added. “F**k ICE.”
