Kristen stewart reflects on her decision to come out publicly as she performs as Saturday evening live host in 2017.
On Monday, February 2, the 35-year-old American actress and director gave an interview ABC News Live Prime with Linsey Davis, nine years after her Saturday evening live monolothe newsgue.
Speaking to President Donald Trump at the time, Stewart said she was “so gay, dude.”
In the clip, she joked, “It was less about sharing the details of my relationship and more about recognizing that there are people who don’t get full access to life because they hide.”
‘I have experienced perspectives [and] I’ve had conversations with people I knew and loved and trusted and still do, who thought, “Your career would be better if you didn’t go out holding your girlfriend’s hand.” And I was like, ‘So you want me to live a partial life? And you want me to maintain a system that excludes people?’ And I just can’t do that,” he said Snow White and the Huntsman star explained.
For those who don’t know, Stewart’s romantic life has been a topic of discussion since the 2010s when she started dating her. Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson.
It is pertinent to mention that she came out as gay during her SNL monologue, in which she responded to nearly eleven tweets from Trump about her romantic life with Pattinson.
