Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia De Rossi are missing their lives in California, it has been revealed.
The comedian and her wife, who moved to Britain’s Cotswolds in November 2024, long for the American routine.
Reports indicate that the couple bought a new home in California 14 months after leaving the US
“She will not be moving back to the US, but will continue to divide her time between Britain and Montecito. [Calif.],” an insider tells PEOPLE.
“She always looked friendly, but no one ever approached her and she was just another celebrity to them,” the insider previously revealed of DeGeneres’ time in Britain.
A source told PEOPLE in 2024: “Ellen was house hunting in England in early October. She ended up finding a house she loved and bought it shortly after.”
