Halle Berry has finally opened up about why she still hasn’t accepted her boyfriend’s marriage proposal.
The Never let go actress, who has been in a relationship with Van Hunt for almost six years, revealed last summer that he had already asked her to marry him.
Well, she said The cut magazine: “I didn’t say yes.” I don’t think we have to be married to have a meaningful relationship.”
“I don’t know if we’ll ever get married,” the 59-year-old star added.
Halle, who was married three times before, went on to tell the publication that every breakup happened for a reason.
“After my third divorce, people started saying, ‘What’s wrong with her?’ She’s crazy. She can’t keep a man,” she said.
“And I would always say, ‘Who says I want to keep a man if he’s not the right man?’ continued the Monster ball actress.
An insider said this recently People magazine that Halle is in no hurry to marry Van.
“They’ve talked about marriage, but Halle is happy the way it is. She wants things to stay the way they are,” the source said.
On the professional front, Halle is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Crime 101. The highly anticipated film will hit theaters on February 13.
