Blue Jays’ George Springer’s announcement is turning heads ahead of the 2026 MLB season, with the Toronto Blue Jays unveiling a special promotion in honor of veteran outfielder George Springer, according to Athlon Sports.
A four-time All Star and former World Series MVP, Springer was instrumental in Toronto’s 2025 campaign and helped the team reach their first Fall Classic since 1993.
The Blue Jays announced their upcoming promotional schedule on social media, including a “Jumpin’ George Springer Bobblehead Giveaway” on April 10 at Rogers Centre.
“AS SEEN ON TV…your American League Champions! It’s Day 1 of our promotional and event schedule,” the team wrote in the announcement, as reported by Athlon Sports.
The bobblehead celebrates Springer’s memorable three-run game against the Seattle Mariners in Game 7 of the 2025 American League Championship Series.
The first 15,000 fans to attend the April 10 game against the Minnesota Twins will receive the collectible.
Springer is having one of the strongest seasons of his career. During the 2025 regular season, he hit .309 with a .959 OPS, along with 32 home runs, 84 RBIs and 18 stolen bases.
He also performed in the postseason, hitting .284 with four home runs during Toronto’s run to the American League pennant.
The Blue Jays open the 2026 regular season on March 27 at home against the Athletics as they look to build on last year’s success.
