Rebecca Ferguson is getting serious about becoming a mother at 23 with an older partner

Rebecca Ferguson shares how becoming a mother at 23 with her older boyfriend changed her outlook on life.

The Mission Impossible actress sat down for an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, published on February 4, for her new film Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man.

During the conversation, she recalled her motherhood journey after welcoming son Isac with her first boyfriend Ludwig Hallberg, who was 22 years older than her.

“I was very young, but started working at the age of fifteen. I was thrown into the deep end of work, adulthood and responsibility,” says Rebecca.

“I had to make my own money. I don’t want people to take care of me. I don’t want anyone to vouch for me. Just make it work.”

Rebecca shared that she has carried this mentally throughout her career, even when she performed stunts on 2018’s Mission: Impossible while pregnant with daughter Saga.

“I was fighting and then I would run out and vomit into a big bag somewhere and drink a mint and then run back in,” she recalled.

As a mother, her children are her priority and she does not stay away for work for more than three weeks at a time.

‘That was my number one [priority]Rebekah said.

The actress shares daughter Saga with her husband Rory St. Clair Gainer.
