Barbra Streisand reportedly wants to clone her beloved dogs again!
While the legendary singer and actress previously revealed she had cloned her late Coton de Tulear, Samantha, resulting in two dogs named Violet and Scarlett, insiders have now revealed she is considering cloning even more dogs.
The source said Radaronline, “Now her two clones, Violet and Scarlett, are reaching an age where she needs to think further.”
Insider also noted, “She wants to get her cloned dogs cloned, and another one, Fanny [a distant cousin of Samantha’s]also cloned.”
“She watches that with great interest. Her dogs are her passion,” she added. “She also doesn’t want to wait for her dogs to pass. She wants to get the ball rolling now and build on her dog family.”
Streisand previously explained that cloning helped her cope with Samantha’s death after 14 years together. While animal welfare groups like PETA have discouraged pet cloning and instead encouraged adoption, insiders claim that Barbra Streisand remains deeply committed to preserving her bond with animals.
The tipster said, “Her dogs have become her life and soul in so many ways. She spoils them senseless by feeding them home-cooked meals, she paints their nails, braids their hair and indulges in other grooming rituals, and she sits and reads them dog stories.”
“She loves the idea of letting them all run amok in her home, which she considers her puppy palace,” she added.
