Gordon Ramsay offered advice to Brooklyn Beckham as he discussed the public feud between him and his parents David and Victoria Beckham.
Speak with The sunthe British chef said Brooklyn is “desperate to stand on its own two feet,” but needs to remember “where you come from.”
“It’s a very difficult situation,” Gordon told the outlet. “Victoria is angry, and I know 24/7, seven days a week, how much David loves Brooklyn.”
The restaurateur went on to say that he loves Brooklyn because his heart is “incredible.”
“Brooklyn and I sent a little message, our relationship is solid. I love him – his heart is incredible,” Gordon said.
He further told the outlet, “He’s desperate to stand on his own two feet. He’s desperate to forge his own path, and I respect that from Brooklyn. It’s such a good thing to do. But remember where you came from.”
“And honestly, one day you’re not going to have your mom and dad anymore, and you have to understand that,” he continued. “But it’s hard, isn’t it, when you’re in love? Love is blind. It’s easy to get on that roller coaster and get carried away. But it comes back.”
“I’ve seen firsthand how good parents they are,” Gordon said of David and Victoria Beckham.
“They both put so much effort into their kids, and I know how many times they got Brooklyn out of trouble,” he added. “I think it’s just a matter of time before Brooklyn takes a good look at himself and understands what his parents mean to him.”
Last month, Brooklyn released a bombshell statement on social media, making it clear that he does not want to reconcile with his parents.
