American TV presenter Savannah Guthrie is said to be ‘heartbroken’ and the family is losing confidence in the police in the kidnapping case of her mother Nancy.
This is what entertainment expert Rob Shuter claims.
Writing for his substack, Rob claimed that the Savannah family is preparing to hire private investigators.
The expert said as the search for Nancy Guthrie continues, people close to Savannah say the emotional toll has been enormous.
The friends describe Savannah as focused solely on her mother Nancy and deeply grateful for the efforts underway — but privately “heartbroken as the days pass.”
The expert continued behind the scenes. According to sources, the Guthrie family is now considering hiring private investigators to supplement the work of the Pima County Sheriff’s Department.
In addition, Sheriff Chris Nanos has strongly rejected claims that his department denied the FBI access to key evidence.
Nanos said, “Not even close to the truth,” as the sheriff denied reports that materials such as gloves and possible DNA were withheld from the FBI’s laboratory at Quantico.
Meanwhile, a source close to the Nancy family says: “They feel like time matters. They want all possible resources to be used immediately.”
“Savannah doesn’t want this to be politicized or sensationalized,” the source said. “She wants her mother found.”
Meanwhile, the FBI said Thursday it was increasing the reward for information leading to Nancy Guthrie’s location from $50,000 to $100,000.
