Kate Hudson has opened up about her children’s bond with Gwyneth Paltrow.
Speak with People magazine, Hudson revealed that Paltrow is affectionately called “Aunt Gwyneth” at her home.
Hudson said, “We lived in England at the same time, and she was a huge support system for me and my son.”
Adding, “She’s Aunt Gwyneth.”
Kate Hudson is mother of sons Ryder and Bingham, and daughter Rani. Over the years, she claims her friendship with Gwyneth Paltrow has evolved into something closer to family.
Hudson said earlier The Hollywood Reporter that being away from her children for long periods of time is a challenge.
She said: “I’ve been a mother since I was 23, it was like that [my oldest child] Ryder was still very young, and I’ve had children all my adult life – and here my daughter turned six and it was the first time I didn’t have a really very young child, and I was able to work on my craft.”
“It reminds me of mothers who make this decision to leave their families to make these types of films. It takes a lot. You have to give yourself permission to be okay with not being 100 percent there for them all day long,” Hudson added.
