Amanda Holden is open about the challenges of raising teenage daughters, and admits that her youngest, Hollie, 14, is currently not appealing to her.
The 54-year-old Britain’s Got Talent Judge told the Daily mail That although it said well to her daughter Lexi, 19, because she left for the university last year, was an emotional moment, it is at home at Hollie that turns out to be more difficult.
Amanda thought about the experience and compared herself with co -mother Myleene Klass, 47, who became emotional when her daughter left the house.
Amanda, however, said that she is doing her best to embrace the peace and quiet, while Lexi concentrates on her studies.
The TV star, who is married to music producer Chris Hughes, made jokes that Lexi will probably return home before he will come up with a mountain of student debt for a long time.
She also came to Lexi’s defense about accusations of a ‘Nepo -Baby’, pointing out that her daughter, who is signed at Storm Modeling Agency, juggling two jobs while going to university.
Amanda said: ‘Unfortunately I have a child at the university and a 14-year-old who doesn’t really want to talk to me.
‘I feel too bad about it, I saw that Myleene was all emotional and I feel it, there are so many mothers who feel that way, but last year Lexi went to the university and I was tearing.
‘Me and Chris drove her in a van, unpacked and drove back in a van and we had the best weekend. We said goodbye, we both cried, but that was.
‘Also, they comeback, they end the university, they don’t know what to do, they have debts and they come back and live at home. This is just a small break. ‘
Amanda, however, is that it is unfair to call her daughter a ‘Nepo -Baby’, because she juggles two jobs, including modeling for Storm, the desk that Kate Moss has made a star.
