She was excited about surviving in the entertainment industry, saying, “In that, I value myself a little differently, wow, I got here and I’m doing well.”
“I don’t feel like I have anything more to prove to Hollywood, to my peers or to the industry, but I feel like if I did, I would be very happy,” she said.
Elsewhere, she spoke about raising her children, Nina, eight, and Thomas, five, outside Los Angeles, Stone Ridge, New York. The actress lives there with her children and husband Thomas Sadoski.
“It’s a lot less Hollywood noise,” she said. “My children know that I am a recognized person in the world, that I am an actor and that it is very normal for them to be on TV.”
“And they also know that they are safe at home and that they have their own privacy – and that’s it,” Amanda Seyfried added.
