Amber Heard has stepped out of the spotlight since her high-profile lawsuit against her ex-husband, Johnny Depp.
She moved to Spain from the US in 2022 and led a private life with her family. So it’s rare that she gives a glimpse into her family life.
The occasion was Thanksgiving. Her vacation photos show the Aquaman actress’ table, where the food is laid out for the party.
Amber’s father, David Heard, is also present in the photos, as is her child, Oonagh. She wrote in the caption, “Thanksgiving cheers through the years. A look back at all the full hearts and plates I’ve shared. I hope you’re well replenished for both this year.”
It is worth noting that the star welcomed her child via surrogacy in 2021. “Four years ago I decided I wanted to have a child,” she said at the time.
“I wanted to do it on my own terms. I now realize how radical it is for us as women to think about one of the most fundamental parts of our destiny in this way. I hope we get to a point where it’s normalized to not want a ring to have a crib.”
“Part of me wants to insist that my private life is no one’s business. I also understand that the nature of my job forces me to take control of it. My daughter was born on April 8, 2021. Her name is Oonagh Paige Heard. She is the beginning of the rest of my life.”
But Oonagh isn’t just the child Amber welcomed through surrogacy. Her other two children, twins Ocean and Agnes, were also born through the same process last May.
