Amy Schumer has finally responded to rumors of her divorce from chef husband Chris Fischer.
On her Instagram account, the 44-year-old actress shared a short update about the relationship between her and Chris on Monday.
“Whatever is happening to me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism,” wrote Amy, who was diagnosed with Cushing syndrome in early 2024.
“Fingers crossed we get through it,” she added. “He’s the best.”
Rumors of Amy and Chris’ divorce made headlines weeks ago. However, the I feel beautiful star shut down the speculation on social media on November 6, simply writing that she and the American chef were “still married.”
Days later, People magazine reported that the couple was “privately dealing with normal issues that couples in long-term marriages have.”
“They are both committed to the relationship,” the insider said.
In her post, Amy also fired back at those who criticized her recent 50-pound weight loss.
“I’m sorry for how it makes you feel that I lost that weight,” the comedian wrote. “I have had plastic surgery over the years and I use monjouro.”
“Sorry to everyone they let down. I am pain free,” she added.
For those unfamiliar, Amy and Chris tied the knot in February 2018, and the couple shares a 6-year-old son, Gene David.
