Andrew Garfield Gets Real About ‘Spider-Man’ Comeback Pressure

Andrew Garfield, the Spider-Man star, opened up about one question that will haunt him for the rest of his life.

In a recent interview, Garfield admitted that the question “will he return as Spider-Man?” will follow him for the rest of his life.

“I think the question that will probably haunt me for the rest of my life is, ‘Are you secretly in the next Spider-Man movie?’ the actor told Heart radio.

Garfield, who played Peter Parker in The Amazing Spider-Man and reprized his role in Spider-Man: No Way Home, added: “Until I’m 90, they’ll ask me, ‘Are you in the new Spider-Man Volume 512?’ and then I say, ‘I’m literally peeing in a colostomy bag right now and I don’t have one…’”

Despite the endless curiosity, the actor made it clear that he is not frustrated by the questions.

“People can ask whatever they want. My life has been very blessed,” Garfield noted.

Andrew Garfield is currently promoting his latest film The Magic Faraway Tree. He previously spoke about his return as Spider-Man, saying he would return if “it felt aligned with my soul and was going to be fun.”

“Maybe I’ll have five kids at some point, and I’ll have to start saving for college tuition or something,” he adds jokingly.
