Ariana Grande ready to step back from work?

Ariana Grande thinks taking a step back from her career could be helpful after more than a decade of near-constant work.

The 32-year-old singer and actress admitted in a recent interview that slowing down could help her regain her balance after years of intense professional commitments in music and film.

Speak with Vogue JapanGrande reflected on her pace since she became famous as a teenager Victorious.

“I think it would probably be healthy. I’m not used to taking breaks. But I do know that I’ve grown a lot by making room for music while filming Bad…But yeah, the last few years have been pretty non-stop. And by few I mean fifteen.”

Looking ahead, Grande says she’s actively looking for a change of pace. “Balance is the goal for the next fifteen years. I don’t think they will look like the previous fifteen years. I think there will be more balance,” she told the publication.

Grande also discussed her approach to portraying Glinda in the two-parter Bad film adaptation, in which she explained that she delved deeply into the emotional background of the character.

She said she spent a lot of time exploring Glinda’s insecurities, relationships and unspoken moments, which helped shape her performance as a highly polished yet vulnerable figure.

The singer also spoke warmly about forming a close bond with co-star Cynthia Erivo during production.

“We have very different processes, and we are very different as people. Yet we took the time to get to know each other, to care for each other through this process… I think it really was.”

Grande continued, “We took care of each other and worked very hard, and it was the most satisfying work of my life. I would do it all over again today.”
