Bad Bunny will headlinelinning the Super Bowl LVIX -RULT TIME in 2026, NBC confirmed during the Dallas Cowboys vs. Green Bay Packers on Sunday Night Football.
The big game is set on 8 February in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, and will be broadcast on NBC with Apple Music who again presents the long -awaited half -time spectacle.
The announcement followed a day of speculation after Apple Music had dropped a cryptic teaser on social media.
The unveiling was officially made with a video of 30 seconds with Bad Bunny’s hit with Tainy, Callaíta.
The Super Bowl-Halftime Show has known for delivering one of the most viewed live performances, previously has music icons such as Beyoncé, Rihanna, The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, and most recently Kendrick Lamar, who illuminated the stage in 20255555555 Not like usaccompanied by SZA and even Serena Williams.
The news of the milestone of Bad Bunny comes on the heels of a disturbing incident in Puerto Rico.
The 31-year-old star had just wrapped a record-breaking residence in the Coliseo de Puerto Rico when reporting appeared from a horrifying death threat made against him during his last show.
Journalist Jay Fonseca revealed on his podcast that a user of social media publicly placed the intentions to kill the artist who caused increased security at the location.
According to Fonseca, the threat was taken very seriously, in which the authorities believed that the suspect could have been armed.
Federal Agents, the FBI, Puerto Rico’s Department of Public Safety, and even the secret service were reportedly on the spot, the latter because of the Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor who attended the concert.
It remains unclear whether the individual has been caught behind the threat and the representatives of Bad Bunny have not commented on this.
