Beckhams jet to Miami amid backlash over Cotswolds home renovation plans

David and Victoria Beckham enjoyed some family time with his mother, Sandra, and father, Ted, in Miami on Sunday.

David, 50, and Victoria, 51, shared the sweet family get-together as they watched Inter Miami beat Nashville 3-1 in the first round of the MLS Cup at Chase Stadium in Florida on Friday.

Shortly after the match, they continued their downtime enjoying a family lunch, with Victoria looking effortlessly stylish in a pair of high-waisted jeans from her own brand and a gray T-shirt.

The former Spice Girl channeled her youthful side with the casual look, opting for natural makeup and loose hair.

David, meanwhile, kept it simple: a white T-shirt and navy chinos, paired with a sleek, luxury watch.

Their trip to the US comes shortly after the couple reportedly angered their affluent neighbors with plans to build a new access road to their £12 million Cotswolds home – a move aimed at avoiding the crowds who frequent the nearby exclusive Soho Farmhouse.

The Beckhams have submitted a planning application to convert an existing agricultural path into a tarmac access route leading to their Maplewood Barn estate. The new road would allow them to bypass the influential crowd that regularly flocks to the trendy members-only club.
