Bella Hadid sparked concerns for her well-being as she returned to the catwalk as she performed her first fashion show after a hospital stay.
The 29-year-old media personality appeared to be struggling during her walk, which some fans believed was due to the heavy weight of her wings attached to the costume.
However, the debate about her health continued on social media and the supermodel herself responded to one of the fans.
In a now-viral TikTok video, a fan asked, “Bella Hadid, what’s wrong with you,” to which she replied in the comments, writing, “Girl, I got my period that morning and my stamina isn’t up yet after the whole hospital stay, but I did my best and I love you for this. I’m good, I swear.”
Hadid also apologized to fans for not being able to perform her best due to health reasons, writing, “I’m sorry if I let you down. I love you, I mean it.”
The Orebella founder was admitted to a hospital in September for treatment of her Lyme disease.
Hadid and her mother, Yolanda Hadid, shared several photos from the hospital as she slowly recovered.
Just before Paris Fashion Week, on September 24, she shared a photo of herself from the gym and wrote: “First day at the gym in a long time. Just walking but still! Getting my stamina back.”
