Billy Crudup and Naomi Watts have been navigating clients for years.
The 57-year-old actor and the 57-year-old actress, who married in 2023, both have in the past in relation to other actors.
In a recent interview, Billy opened about how they support each other’s career in the entertainment industry. “We’ve been doing this for a long time,” he said. “I think we have an idea of how each of us manages our career, and so we do the best that we can simply support the other’s agenda.”
Their mutual support is clear in their public performances. Naomi recently lived the premiere of Billy’s series at The morning show and his new film Jay Kelly At the Venice Festival.
Last year Billy Naomi accompanied the Emmys 2024, where she was nominated for her role in Feud: Capote versus the swans. He also received a nomination on the Awards Show. “It is incredibly gratifying to be by her side,” said Billy.
Naomi emphasized the importance of having a supporting partner in the entertainment industry. “It’s much easier to do this with someone,” she said.
“Doing one of these award shows or public performances – it helps to just have someone in your team and hold the hand and a little eye contact to center yourself.”
Their relationship is based on mutual respect, trust and admiration. They often discuss their work, share ideas and offer acting tips together.
“We talk a lot about work, and we will go through ideas that we will have for scenes or characters. And I have to say that there are no competitive vibes at all,” Billy said. “The acting we like to talk about, and we support each other’s work.”
