Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively’s courtroom drama is over It ends with us took another dramatic turn after reports said the case ended in Lively’s favor.
While Lively celebrated Halloween with Ryan Reynolds, Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman told Daily Mail that no mistakes were made in court.
He said his client chose not to file an amended complaint so he had the right to appeal.
Freedman stated that the media has distorted the facts and that the truth of the matter has been “completely distorted.”
He emphasized that the actor-director team was focused on pursuing the facts and would continue to fight for their side in court.
The feud began when Lively filed a $250 million harassment complaint, accusing Baldoni of inappropriate behavior during filming.
Shortly afterwards, he filed a $400 million lawsuit of his own, claiming that the actress and the New York Times had damaged his reputation and were trying to take over the project.
A simple favor star later accused her co-star’s team of hiding important evidence and using digital tools to spread false information about her.
She also demanded a full version of an explicit birth video allegedly shown to her on set, calling it “pornography.”
Both parties denied the allegations. However, the legal battle, filled with claims, counterclaims and new filings, showed no signs of ending as both stars prepared for the next chapter of their public battle.
