Brianne Howey is thrilled when she hears that Tina Knowles is a fan of Ginny & Georgia.
In a new conversation with We weeklythe actress broke her silence about Beyoncé’s mother by acknowledging her work and tuning into the hit song Netflix series.
‘Tina’s whole family freaked me out [watching the show],” Howey, 36, said, recalling the moment she learned that Knowles, 71, had become a fan.
“I couldn’t contain myself,” she added.
While currently filming season 4, Howey didn’t dismiss the idea of celebrity cameos and also reflected on the show’s limitless creative space.
“That’s the great thing about this show. The possibilities are really endless,” she noted.
“I have to hand it to our writers and our creator, where they’ve created a whole new genre where anything is possible and it still feels very earned and justified.”
In closing, Howey even threw out a playful invitation: “Is it too big of an ask to see if Tina Knowles wants to come on the show? I’m up for it.”
“Maybe she’ll let me do her hair,” she joked.
