Bridgerton actress Simone Ashley is now also a singer!
Simone surprised her fans when she dropped a teaser for her very first song.
The singer enters her pop star era with the announcement that her first single will be released in April.
On Instagram, Simone, known for her role of Kate Sharma in the Bridgerton series, released a teaser video, filmed in the recording studio. The video offered the first glimpse of her singing voice.
In the caption, she simply wrote, “Here we go…” along with the song’s release date: April 10.
Fans and other celebrities expressed their excitement in the comments section, with one saying: “Can’t Wait!!”
Another comment read: “WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS OMG.”
“So excited, can’t wait to hear it,” said the third user.
On the other hand, users on X (formerly Twitter) also expressed their excitement about Simone’s music venture.

It is pertinent to mention that Simone Ashley previously hinted at her passion for singing late last year. She revealed at the time that the project had been close to her heart for more than three years.
“This oeuvre has been close to my heart for the past three years. And I am very happy to share it with you,” said the Devil wears Prada 2 actress said earlier.
Notably, the title and other details of the track have not yet been revealed.
