Britney Spears suddenly disappeared from Instagram and her account is no longer visible as of Sunday.
Anyone trying to access her page will receive a message saying “Sorry, this page is not available to view,” while Instagram notes that the page “may have been removed.”
However, her account on X remains active.
The unexpected move follows recent concerns about Spears’ behavior after she was filmed driving erratically late last month.
In video obtained by Page sixthe singer was seen heading home with a friend, at one point crossing the center divider in her black BMW convertible.
Before getting behind the wheel that evening, Spears and her companion reportedly stopped at Red O restaurant in Westlake, California.
A manager at the restaurant that served them said she appeared calm and level-headed. “She was super chill and really nice,” Oliver Wynn said, explaining that she simply enjoyed her meal and left.
He added that he was surprised by how nice she was, noting that he had “never seen a celebrity be as nice as Britney.”
Shortly after the images circulated, Spears posted a cryptic comment on Instagram that seemed to gloss over the situation. “If anyone is wondering that I wasn’t the lookalike…,” she wrote.
Despite her message, the video caused alarm among those close to her. Loved ones were reportedly shocked by the similarity to the difficult period leading up to her collapse in 2007.
At that time, Spears lost custody of her sons, Sean Preston, now 20, and Jayden James, now 19, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline.
A source speaks to the Daily mail described the growing fear within her circle. “There is a lot of concern. Everyone has always wanted the best for her, and she is now showing that she is making bad choices.”
The insider went on to say, “It’s terrifying. So there’s a lot of talk about what to do, if that’s even possible. How can we protect her from herself.”
Spears also recently found herself in a new round of headlines following Federline’s memoir, You thought you knewdifficult accusations emerged about her.
She opposed what he claimed, her spokesperson previously said Page six that Federline is “taking advantage of her” after her child support payments end.
