Britney Spears’ former husband Kevin Federline recently made another major shocking revelation in his new tell-all memoir: You thought you knew.
In the book Kevin says that the Toxic hitmaker was not a good parent to their sons when they were young.
“I was in Miami for work trying to stay focused on my commitments and I received a phone call,” wrote the 47-year-old, who had two sons with Britney, whom he was married to from 2004 to 2007.
He said Britney’s association with two celebrities convinced him they would rather party than be a mother.
“She, Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan were on the phone, drunk as hell, begging me to come over,” Kevin continues.
“I could hear Preston and Jayden crying in the background… It must have been three or four in the morning. That phone call was the final straw,” Kevin adds.
He points out that this isn’t the first time Britney failed to take responsibility, but this time hearing his sons in pain meant the end of his relationship with the singer.
“Hearing my kids crying while she was doing God knows what? That was it,” Kevin says.
He goes on to say that every “splinter of hope” Kevin and Britney “could somehow still make it for the kids, they died right then and there.”
