The Beckhams are generally known for their unity and perfection in the public eye. However, Brooklyn reportedly questioned this image in his recent social media post.
His post exposes the tensions that have been brewing within the celebrity family for quite some time, but only come to the surface through insider reports.
“My parents have controlled the press stories about our family… to maintain their own facade,” he wrote in the note on social media.
But this isn’t the first time the Beckham family has faced a public controversy. In the early 2000s, Rebecca Loos, a PA for the England footballer, claimed she had an affair with him.
David strongly denied the accusation. However, his wife, Victoria, remained silent on the matter. She did not address the issue for years, only to address it in her Netflix documentary in 2023.
“You know, until Madrid it sometimes felt like we were against everyone. But we were together, we were connected, we had each other. But when we were in Spain, it didn’t really feel like we had each other either. And that’s sad,” the Spice Girl member said.
It is worth noting that David and Victoria got married in 1999. They share four children.
