BTS releases brand new album ‘Arirang’ after a four-year hiatus

BTS is back with a brand new album, Arirang, four years after completing mandatory military service.

On Friday, the popular South Korean band released their fifth studio album, containing fourteen new songs.

This came after a gap of almost four years, during which all seven members of the K-pop group served mandatory service in the Armed Forces of the Republic of Korea.

“The album contains 14 songs and is packed with honest stories that BTS wants to share with ARMY, who as an entire group have been waiting for their PM comeback,” according to a press release about the album.

“Filled with the music most true to BTS, the album is their heartfelt way of thanking ARMY, who has been there the whole time,” the album continued.

The K-pop band – consisting of RM, Jin, SUGA, J-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook – will also embark on the Arring World Tour. The tour is scheduled from April 2026 to March 2027.
