Bunnie Xo and Jelly Roll on expanding their family

Bunnie Xo shares where she and husband Jelly Roll are on their journey to growing their family.

The 45-year-old spoke about her Stupid blonde podcast on November 2, where guest Maury Povich shared that he and his wife, Connie Chung, once had similar problems when they were trying to have a baby.

“We’ve been through the same things you and Jelly Roll went through,” Povich told Bunnie, noting that they tried to get pregnant decades ago.

He recalled Chung even stepping away from it CBS at the time because their efforts became so public. Ultimately realizing they “couldn’t do it,” the couple opted for adoption, a decision he said was “the best” he could have made.

Bunnie, whose legal name is Alisa DeFord, has been open about undergoing IVF with the 40-year-old Wild specimens singer, born Jason DeFord.

She admitted that the journey has not been easy, but she chooses to keep her feet on the ground.

“It’s hard, but at the same time it’s like you’re just putting it in God’s hands,” she said.

“If it’s meant to be, then it’s meant to be. And if not, we can always adopt it.” She added that both she and Jelly Roll are “completely open to adoption as well.”

The couple married in 2016 and Bunnie became stepmother to Jelly Roll’s two children, daughter Bailee Ann and son Noah Buddy.

Over the past few years, she has shared honest updates about IVF.

In June, she posted an emotional video to celebrate what she called a “huge victory” after receiving news she had been waiting for for five months.

“All the tears, the hopelessness and the struggle, God finally said, ‘Here,’” she captioned the clip.

She later clarified in the comments that she was not announcing a pregnancy, but marking an important step forward.

“This is not a pregnancy announcement – we will not announce that,” she wrote. “This is just a huge win for us.”

For now, Bunnie and Jelly Roll remain hopeful as they continue to explore all avenues to grow their family, whether through IVF or adoption.
