Cardi B expresses her continuous split of offset and makes it clear that the process has been far from smoothly.
During a performance of September 19 at The Breakfast ClubThe rapper admitted that her separation of the Migos Star did not unfold as she had hoped.
“It’s not peaceful at all,” said Cardi. “I can’t even talk about it because it is a court, but it is not peaceful.”
The 32-year-old, who shares three children with Offset, Kulture, 7, Wave, 4 and Blossom, 12 months, also addressed his recent track Go upWhere he raps: “You never listen to no rules / you never cook n — If no food / you just want to go to nobu / tell me st that you don’t do.”
Cardi finished it and revealed that she ‘laughed’ when she heard it.
Her answer was immediately: “Why are you still bothering me? Now you have all this B — He who cooks, so why can’t you sign the papers?”
The couple married in 2017 after a whirlwind romanticism, but a year after submitting divorce, Cardi is still waiting for closure.
Yet she has not lost confidence in love. “I’m getting married again, but not as fast as I got married the last time,” she said.
For now, her attention is on her career and personal life.
Cardi is preparing to release her second album Am I the drama? While she also expects her first child with friend Stefon Diggs.
“I have already submitted this work, but I do all this work while I am making a baby,” she shared in an interview with September 17 with CBS mornings. “I am happy. I have the feeling that I am in a good space.”
About her relationship with the broad recipient of New England Patriots, she added: “We are really the best in what we do. We really support each other.”
